Beamline ID15B is a premier X-ray powder and single crystal diffraction station primarily dedicated to research at extreme pressures and temperatures. The combination of high resolution XRD and advanced sample environments (high-temperature diamond anvil cells and helium-flow cryostat) open up many new possibilities in the study of matter at very high pressures and temperatures.
