Abstract
This talk will give a status of the Insertion Devices (IDs) at the ESRF-EBS. After a brief tour of ID operation, I will talk about ID construction and measurements at the ESRF. The EBS storage ring includes more and more in-vacuum and cryogenic undulators ; a few typical ID sections will be presented. Tests for reducing the vertical gap of a cryo undulators are on-going. Perspectives for short period and high field IDs will be presented. Synchronous motions of insertion devices and monochromators are becoming more and more important for the spectroscopy beamlines. A test bench is being built for this purpose.
