APS/CNM Users Meeting

May 4 - May 8

Dear Colleagues, 

We’re pleased to invite you to register for the 2026 joint Advanced Photon Source (APS)/Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) Users Meeting, taking place May 4–8, 2026, at Argonne National Laboratory! This event is a great opportunity for scientists at all career stages, including students and industry partners, to come together and share the latest research advancements made possible by these world-class U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science user facilities. 

The meeting will feature a wide range of activities designed to foster collaboration and innovation including: 

  • Opening plenary session featuring a keynote address by Ted Sargent (Northwestern University)
  • DOE Perspective
  • Plenary sessions that highlight APS- and CNM-driven research advancements
  • Poster session open to all attendees 
  • Tours of APS and CNM facilities
  • Workshops on emerging trends in science  
  • Vendor exhibits
  • Banquet at the Brookfield Zoo

Early-bird registration is open through February 13, 2026. Save $50! Registration closes April 20, 2026, at 5 p.m. CDT. It is recommended that non-U.S. citizens register by March 2, 2026, in order to meet processing requirements.
