Coherence 2026 Conference
Following on the successes of previous Coherence conferences, we are pleased to announce that the Coherence 2026 conference will be held June 21-25, 2026 on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus in Madison, WI, USA.

Coherence 2026 will include exciting presentations on the development of optical coherence techniques using x-rays, electrons, and extreme ultraviolet radiation and their applications across a wide range of scientific frontiers. The 2026 workshop will highlight recent developments at highly coherent X-ray sources and will focus on how coherence techniques can be brought to new scientific problems and to new scientific communities.
SEES (Synchrotron Earth and Environmental Science) will make funding available to assist Earth and environmental scientists with meeting costs. Details about how to request such funds will be available when registration opens in January. This is an excellent opportunity for Earth and environmental scientists interested in learning about coherence methods including those enabled by recent and upcoming upgrades to U.S. light sources.
The Madison location continues the long-standing tradition of waterfront locations conducive to insightful and inspiring collegial discussions. There will also be an optional excursion during the meeting to visit the experimental facilities of the upgraded Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory.
