Lodging

For students and postdocs who will be presenting a poster, we will provide housing at no cost in a UChicago residence hall within walking distance from the Rubenstein Forum, where the meeting will take place. Please note that our residence halls also serve several other summer programs, and attendees may have to share a room.

For all other meeting participants, we have arranged a hotel block at The Study, which is next door to the Rubenstein Forum. Our negotiated rate for Deluxe King rooms is $219/night + 17.4% tax. While there is no additional charge for double occupancy for Deluxe King rooms, the price increases for triple and quadruple occupancy are $20/night and $40/night, respectively. Depending on availability, Deluxe Double rooms (with two beds) may be available for $229/night + 17.4% tax.

Guests are welcome to reserve their rooms over the phone (773.643.1600) or by email ([email protected]). Please make sure to mention that your reservation is part of the “SEES Room Block.”

Check-in and check-out times are 3 pm and 12 pm, respectively. Cancellations must be made by 3 pm Central Time at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid incurring charges.
